The last couple of years, I have been using Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax, and TW Hybrid Ceramic Spray coating. I have been underwhelmed by the lack of durability of the beading on the TW, and the Meguiars has been only somewhat better. Given the rave reviews I was reading of both products before I bought them, I think the issue is NOT that either of these spray waxes are bad, its just that the paint on my cars is getting old and degraded. The newest vehicle I have is a 2006.

Is there a spray wax (at this point, silicone or not) that just does better on old paint?

What have you done for prep on the paint? Have you done any claying or decon?

I don't think the durability of a wax has to do with age of the paint. Are you baseing this durability issue on how the paint looks or its ability to bead or shed water? If it is an appearance issue you may need to do a paint correction by claying followed by a cutting polish, finish polish and then apply your wax.If it is a durability issue as already stated paint preparation is a big part.
The products you mentioned have a very good reputation. What type of durability are you expecting? The advertised durability of many products is seldom achieved. Those durability claims are under ideal conditions.
On one of my vehicles I get an entire year out of a carnuba wax. But unless the car is being driven it spends its time in the garage with a cover on it.

You'll probably be underwhelmed with it's water behavior and durability, but Optimum Car Wax with it's UV blockers might be worth looking in to.

What were you expecting for durability? You may have been underwhelmed, but the product durability might have been on par for a spray sealant. Most won't last as long as a good sealant you apply from a bottle.

I've used the TW Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax and it's lasted 3~4 months which is actually a bit longer than I expected.
