In the past I have always just used a kirkland MF towel. 80/20...300gsm. But it does an average job. What have you guys found to work well. Oh and what kind of cleaner do you use as well? I have a very very old bottle of Invisiglass. I now have tints as well so a cleaner that is tint safe...aka no Ammonia.

Car Pro's glass towel and most auto (tint safe) glass cleaner will work.

I’ve been having good luck with huck towels and invisible glass.

I plan on maybe trying to trade for some megs d120 just because a gallon of concentrate is so much for one person, lol.

I’m not sure how much better Megs is than Invisible Glass. I use both with similar results. I think the key is the towels. I plan to get some Griots glass PFMs. Hopefully their glass PFM towels are just as amazing as their PFM towels for drying paint.

I just ordered some of their wax removing towels.

So did I...which ones did you order? I almost ordered the red and white "wax removal" PFM towels, but ended up going with the gray and black 16X16 PFM Terry Weave towel, which is 860 GSM (I've seen some places say they are over 1,000 GSM). The gray and black was the one I saw on nearly every video and picture where people were proclaiming how great they were....

For interior glass cleaner I really like Sonax Glass Cleaner. The big benefit with this is it's clinging on the glass and where you spray it it stays with very much less of a chance run down and also minimal overspray. Cause some Glass Cleaner would desolve the protection you have on for an example the dashboard or other parts and leaves them blotchy looking. It's cleaning ability is top notch both on the inside and outside glass. But since I want the clinging ability more on the inside glass it's where I use it. And for an use out of what it's was intended to be used as is that you can use it as a claylube with some clay alternatives too. This is on the very neglected paints where it actually works great. Is a tips that I saw Renny Doyle was useing this with. Not much of product is needed and very effective glass cleaner and I feel it's worth for trying it out and see how you like it.

SONAX Glass Cleaner, Glass Clear, auto glass cleaner

IME experience when cleaning glass the most important is to have enough glass towels at hand. I use very low to no nap mf glass towels. And often these gets saturated fast so a follow up with a dry mf glass towel or even a WW mf towel is needed. So a first towel that does the heavy lifting with breaking up the grime and pick it up. And the second dry towel to buff to get it buffed dryed and clean. Also have a look at the grime and when the first glass towel starting to leave traces behind. It's time to refold the towel to a new clean side. And when all side is used you switch to another one and this is often needed frequently to be done. The second towel is important to have dry as it's not leaves to much glass cleaner behind. And the good thing with Sonax Glass Cleaner is that is it clean but little wet of glass cleaner it evaporate off streak free. If you have streaking it means you have not get it clean enough or the glass towel is used to long before refolded. That's why I use many glass towels and since I always wash the glass towels separate it's non issue to use many of them. The nap on dedicated glass towels is often very aggressive and can and most likely will get other mf towels to start linting. That's why it's important to wash them separately.

Looking at the price point of mf glass towels I would take a look at the Carpros new one. And maybe the GG PFM glass towels could work awesome to a secondary to soak up the glass cleaner and the last grime. It may work as the first cleaning towel too but I like to have the short to no nap mf glass towels for the first cleaning step.

I have on ordered a no name Diamond Weave Microfiber Glass Towels for $1.75.

Speed Master Premium Glass Towel

Have 2 of these. WOW! Use them on exterior glass to apply pinnacle glass cleaner with rain repellant. NO STREAKS OR SMEARS. I am sure the same results would be had on the interior glass with any good glass cleaner.

Interior glass, I use the WOLFSTEINS ZAP CLOTH.

Wolfstein?s Zap Cloth

No cleaner needed! Just dampen the cloth with warm water, wring out, and clean the glass. Again, never had streaks or smears on my interior glass using this cloth.

I bought one of those and don't really use it because I'm afraid using it damp (which leaves streaks - that supposedly dry clear) will leave marks since I have hard water. Do you use normal tap water for that or distilled water? Do the streaks really dry clean?

Tap water. Cant say I really ever had a issue with it. Just make sure you really wring it out of excess water before you use it.

I wouldn’t say I’d wanna switch cause it’s better, id just prefer to get my hands on like 16-32oz so I can mix up more when I need it vs going and getting more at the store. A gallon is just so much, so I really haven’t wanted to buy a whole one.

Yep my gallon is years old with no using it up in sight even with using it around the house.

I use ’dedicated’ Waffle Weave MF-towels
(along with tint-safe auto-glass cleaners)
for cleaning auto-glass.

Here, for your viewing pleasure, are
just a few tint-safe glass cleaners:

Waffle Weave for me too.

I struggled for a few years with other towels before trying WW's.

Also, for interior glass the Zap cloth may sound too good to be true, but I can tell you it is certainly worth getting.

I'm also a WW MF towel user on glass. I find they work perfectly for me and they are large to flip to a clean side often. I have several dedicated just to glass.

And Sprayway is my choice for cleaner. I buy it by the case and get it cheaper.

My first clean is with a distilled water damp, wringed out wwmf, then Sprayway and a clean, dry mf towel.
