Hello all!

I am new here and have been studying the forum for the last 6 weeks and am hoping to make my first large order which will include towels. I am having a hard time determining type, size, and quantity of towels needed for a complete paint correction. I have a full size 4 door long bed truck that I need enough towels for.

Please indicate your preferences for:
1) drying towel
2) glass towel
3) product removal towels
4)interior towels
5) Misc. towels

Please include towels name, size and quantity needed.

Thank You! :)

Sticking with AG products (which, I'm ashamed to admit I don't always do):

1) Metrovac Air Force One - 1. OK, the Cobra WW is OK. I won't even bring up the WalMart Dish Drying Mat. ;)
2) Cobra Glass WW - 1 per car.
3) Super Soft Deluxe Blue Microfiber Towels, microfiber detailing towels, buffing towels, micro fiber towel, detail cloth - 1 per operation per car
4) OK, I have to - Costco (Eurow) MFs. I guess I could live with the Mango Breeze but pricey by comparison. Bunches.
5) Use use long nap MFs for waterless washing (not AG). Carpro suede MFs for clear interior plastics.

Total quantity of each depends on how often you plan on washing them. I have tons, wash frequently and still want more.

1. Mothers WW Drying towel or Meguiars Drying WW. At least 2.
2. Anything will do for glass. Even paper towels. Find a glass towel that has a very short knap and almost feels kind of coarse. 3-4 per vehicle.
3. Meguiars Supreme Shine. 10-15 per vehicle
4. Wally world or Costco bulk pack
5. See 4.

For removing polish wax or sealant I love chemical monster microfiber towels cant beat 3 for ten bucks and they work well. It's all around a greAt towel for anything

drying: guzzler
windows: any waffle weave
paint: rolled edge
interior/misc. Costco

That's just my preference.

For drying i use water sheeting method then blot dry with some CG drying towels, for glass ill use CG yellow towels with the black band l, product removal i use cg yellow with black band (different size so i can keep separated) i also use megs supreme shine to remove my waxes, interior i use some cg chubby towels and for misc purposes i picked up a 36 pack of pretty descent MF at home depot for like 11 bucks, and white cotton terry for spot cleaning interiors....

There are alot of links on this article. I prefer the Cobra Gold Plush Towels, but like everyone has said. You get what you pay for. Start with BOGO towels offers when they appear and slowly buy and build up your stock. Like everyone says it is my preference, others will have a different choice. Purchase a few and make a decicision on what's right for you. Quality last.
