Best Waterless Carwash Product?

I am a big fan of the mantra, ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I would much rather spray QD, 2 or 3 times a week, than break out the hose, two buckets, towels, etc, etc.
SO...
Which is the best way to maintain a clean car.?(not wash a soiled one)

1. Quick Detailer like Last Touch or Meg #135
2. Waterless like Detailer's Pro Series Waterless Auto Wash (application similar to QD).
3. Optimum No Rinse, and the two water bucket system.
4. something else

Ultima Waterless Wash Plus. Mix 1/2 oz. in a 22 oz. spray bottle ( I like a pump spray bottle) and lightly mist a panel and wipe with a waffle weave or mf towel. Use a second towel for a final wipe. Leaves your paint clean and slick. Was an ONR fan for years, but now only use Ultima. For a hose wash try Ultima Paint Guard Wash.. slickest soap on the market.

ONR is a rinseless wash and Ultima is a waterless wash. I used just about every quick detailer on the market, but since using Ultima I don't use a QD anymore. I feel safer using Ultima as a QD as it has more lubricantcy (is that a word?),

Yes, I understand this, but when used in the 1/2 oz & 22 oz for the Ultima and 1oz to 16 oz for the ONR, both are essentially used as quick detailer waterless products.

No, ONR is not a waterless wash thus has less cleaning agents (polymers). This is why Optimum came out with a waterless wash called Opti-Clean.
 
Ultima, DP, and ONR .... all the best of the best.

well, it's marketed as being a rinseless car wash, clay lube, waterless wash and regular car wash enhancer.

Again, ONR is not a waterless wash. Read your post, no mention of a waterless wash. Like I said if your looking for a waterless wash by Optimum, then use Opti-Clean.
 
OK I think we're splitting hairs here. If using a quick detailer, or ONR in a QD manner, isn't that a waterless wash?, or am I missing something?

A QD is not a waterless wash solution. ONR does not have enough lubrication to be a waterless wash. This is why Optimum came out with Opti-Clean which is made to be a waterless wash.

I keep a bottle of ONR in a spray bottle at a bit stronger than QD strength for that purpose. Yeah, it isn't necessarily designed as such but it works fine. I tried Opti Clean and while it does what it's supposed to well it isn't very economical. I used about 3/4 of the bottle on a full-size extended cab truck. ONR is a bit of a Swiss Army Knife product... after an ONR wash use a residue dampened wipeoff towel to wipe down the tires and under the hood. I find I use dressings a lot less.

Ultima seems the most cost effective. Any issues with Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ Concentrate getting clumpy, from other threads?

Sorry never heard of it becoming clumpy. 1/2 oz. in 22 ozs. of water leaves little chance of it getting clumpy. Maybe the concentrated fluid in the bottle got frozen during shipping..dunno.
