Hi Mike,
I am rather new here, but wanted to get some advice. I have a "Cosmic Gray" Toyota Camry and want to put a wax on it to really make the paint pop! Which wax or wax system do you recommend?

Is this something that I should use a sealer and a wax together for? If so, in which order are they used?

Lastly, how often should I reapply the wax to protect the paint and make it look really great? A picture of the color is attached to this thread.

Thanks for your help & opinion!

Natty's Blue wax works great

Pinnacle Black Label coating looks great as well and is what I have my wife's Camry coated with!

I have since topped the PBL with Natty's Blue just to see how it would look and because my wife asked for a layer of the bubblegum wax.

I rally like DodoJuice for wax and Pinnacle XMT 360 for an All in one sealant. Apply the sealant first. It will clean the paint and has a fine polish for removing light scratches. Then apply the wax. Wax every 3 months. Apply sealant every 6 to 9 months.

On this forum you will find every one has a favorite. Experiment and find yours. You can trust Auto Geek as a supplier for the best products and service.

Was there any discernable difference in looks when adding the natty blue?

I'd be interested in also hearing about how the coating reacts when you feel the natty blue is long gone. How the sheeting and beading react to being covered with a film of wax for a time.

I noticed a little bit of depth was added to the shine when I added the wax, instead of just the surface shine look the PBL imparts.

It's been 2-3 weeks now since I put on the wax and it is finally raining today ending this crazy drought we have been having so I'll see if I can get a picture of current beading.

Here lately (since my acquisition thereof) it's been SON1C Wax's: CARNAUBAVORE WAX
for the (admittedly subjective): "best wax/wax system" for our (gray-ish) Pewter Metallic vehicle.

SON1C Wax Carnaubavore

"The Good Wife" really likes the look...
You now may be the judge.

I have used Blackfire Midnight Sun and Dodo Juice Light Fantastic with awesome results on my Silver TL.

What's going on here, Glen...
An attempt at DIY RWL's gone awry?
