So Ive had some issues with lighter/darker areas when using this in the past, but I plan on using this on a new truck now. Its brand new and all interior is naked/not protected. Since 303 seems to have the best protection around, I think this would be a good go-to product. I have Megs quik interior for occasional wipes, so that aspect is covered too.

Now with the 303, whats the best method to eliminate splotches/streaks when applying?

Spray it on a MF towel, then spread it around until an even coat is achieved.

Then, turn the MF over and buff it.

Works for me. :)

I use a microfiber cloth or usually a pad as well. Seems to be the easiest way to get it even.

I got a can of 303 wipes and they can be a bit streaky but you only notice this after everything is dry and you see the spots you missed. Do y’all apply and then go back and check the next day, a few hours later?

Thanks guys. Id assume its best to do this early AM or later in the day, pretty much not when its hot and the suns blazin'

I haven't tried 303 yet. How does it compare to some of the other products out there from Blackfire or McKee's37?

A trick I have when the interior is textured... apply 303 and with a gloved hand, massage it "into" the plastic or vinyl. Wait a hour or few hours and then wipe it down (don't wait overnight). Looks really good and gives a nice even coverage.

On interiors, it’s just ok. For exteriors, I don’t like it at all.

Yeah a final buff on the dry side is always a winner

I always use two different colored towels; one for applying product and one for removing product. A foam applicator is another good idea for applying and a towel for removing. Always make sure that the removing towel surface is dry.

Agree, use this stuff alot and overspray and so on is why you spray it on the MF first.
