What is the best way to apply Marine 31 Polish to a wool pad with a rotary?

I have the Marine 31 Finish Cut Metal Restoring Polish using a Lake Mfg Wool pad.

I basically want to know how to put it on the pad since it's in the can like it is, is there a dipping technique with an applicator pad then wipe it on the aluminum or metal surface first, then hit it with the wool pad?

Also how much so I be using on the pad? Mike Philips already knows about this fun project I'm doing. Well he hasn't seen the photos yet I don't think, lol

It's a 17' Bass Pro Crappie 175 Aluminum fishing boat.

Here are a few pictures!

Use it sparingly. The more you use the more residue you're going to have to buff away. A trick that guys who work with polishing aluminum use is flour. Plain baking flour. After polishing when you have a ton of black residue left just sprinkle it on and rub it in. Then wipe it off. It gets rid of left over polish and leaves the metal looking shiny
