A little more information in the beginning would have resulted in more constructive replies.

It really depends on the viscosity of the product you're using.

CarPro PERL, diluted, is easily spray-able laying down am even coat to soak in. I've used PERL many times with great results.

Thicker products lend themselves well to be applied with a brush or foam rubber pad. Like I said, it depends on the liquids viscosity....

i will be using the PERL 1:1 and the white pearl full strength

Well with a gallon you will certainly have enough to do side by side trial for a while.

since both of these dressing are watery, whats the best way to apply it to the application pad. squeeze bottle or spray bottle?

I use a squeeze bottle but I recently got some Blackfire tire dressing and it has a sprayer on it. I think it's pretty nice to just spray the applicator. I think it's cleaner too since I don't have anything drip on the bottle.

I say use a sprayer.

I use both CarPro PERL and Wolfgang Vinyl Protectant.

The Wolfgang Vinyl Protectant is used straight, no thinning or diluting required.

The use CarPro PERL thinned 1 part PERL to 3 parts water. I feel this is the perfect solution for both exterior trim and well as interior surfaces and trim. I have reduced PERL 1 part PERL to 5 parts water for interior use for fantastic results....

CarPro PERL

Both products apply well using a standard spray bottle.....:props:
