Best winter snow brush?

People constantly ask me what is the safest snow brush that won’t scratch your paint? This one is a tough one for me to answer.

With you but hard to keep a leaf blower in the back of your car...not practical if your out away from home, at work or what not. Plus most of these folks have a garage so they only get snow covered at work.

I don't know the brand, but I see many places that now sell better and softer snow brushes. I particularly like the type that has a telescoping curved handle, and as well a brush head that can be rotated. Also on the other end is Plastic Scraper Blade.

They aren't very expensive, and quite sturdy.

They allow you to reach further, and with the ability to rotate the brush head, it makes the chore a lot easier, especially for roofs on SUVs and Crossovers where they are taller. You can pull the snow towards you instead of brushing to the front or rear of the vehicle.

I think in any instance, no matter how soft, there's always going to be the potential of marring and lightly scratching the paint when brushing off snow.

One reason why is that as you remove the snow, you might also be dragging road grit-dirt that was on the paint prior to the snow accumulation.

I haven't found a better tool for removing wet, heavy, or deep snow.

You need not try and "scrape" every last bit from the paint either.

This will save you some swirls come spring.
 
Sno Brum. It’s made from “non abrasive foam”. It actually does work well and does not scratch the vehicle.

*I went up to Taunton and put some 80grit on the edges of yours when you were away, UD...........*
