Bought a special deal from AG a few yrs ago of all Wolfgang products. I have thoroughly enjoyed them and have no regrets to the purchase. But now I am running out of product.

I don't mind getting more Wolfgang, but when I do find a product I like, I will look and see if there is anything better. Sometimes there is, sometimes there is not.

So my question to all of ya'll, is there anything you would recommend above Wolfgang where polish and sealant are concerned? I like and use Collinite 845 to top if it makes any difference.

I thank you in advance for your time and comments. Be Blessed.

Well seeing as you mention 845 i assume you are not opposed to liquids. One very good liquid sealant that i use and like is Jescar Ultralock.
If you want something a little easier to apply then Collinite Beadcoat gets good reviews and then there is Feynlab Hybrid Ceramic Detailer. Although its labeled a detailer a lot call it a sealant.
So the Ultralock topped with 845 is a fantastic combo.
One advantage of the two spray sealants is one can apply them to unpainted plastics.

The only polish i have used recently is Sonax Cut Max and Sonax Perfection. Both performed well.
To be honest i havent used any Wolfgang products but if frequency is any indicator i dont hear the name Wolfgang brought up very often.
In an unrelated question. Do you have a 72 Malibu?

I still have 2 bottles of Uber Rinseless . Is still one of my favorite rinseless washes.

For spray sealants maybe give this a look.

This is The Baby. She now wears 18" Boss 338's instead of 15" Cragars. But she's not quite ready for a new photo shoot.

I've got the Jescar Powerlock. I found it to be equal to the Wolfgang imho.

I've got ADS Ghost and really like that product. So looking at some of their other stuff, too. I'll check out the Sonax, Uber and Forensic.

Thank you

Ive got your cars older brother.

Ultralock is the si02 infused sealant from Jescar. Although the powerlock is a good product as well.

It was pretty clear 20 years ago when they changed the VOC regs and the Wolfgang sealant, the Blackfire, and the Jescar (Menzerna at the time--and the original Powerlock was a Menzerna USA product, not Menzerna Germany) all were temporarily unavailable with the exact same wording for the explanation, that they all came from the same place. Not saying they were all the same product--but they could have been.

I've used the Wolfgang spray ceramic coating and it worked well. The SIO2 topper is really wet looking.

The only Wolfgang product that really impressed me was the SiO2 Paint Sealant. Hands-down, it is the best sealant I've applied from a durability, water behavior and ease of use standpoint. It looks really good on lighter colors too.

From a polish standpoint, I like the Griots BOSS line. I found they correct just as well, if not better than the Wolfgang products and aren't as oily.

Whats the consensus on Dr Beasleys and CarPro?

Using AI to condense search results over AGO as well as the net in general, these two names keep coming coming up. CarPro more often than Dr Beasleys. I've never used either one.

I use questions such as "brand A vs brand B". Also "top 5 of X product on autogeekonline specifically". Results are interesting as Meguiars probably comes up the most often. Even took the top 4 out of a top 5 question.

My advice would be to not limit yourself to one brand for all things. You'll probably be better off looking at each type of product and seeing where that leads rather than trying to find a brand that has it all.

CarPro has quite a few good products, I have some of them on my shelf, but I've also tried a few that didn't impress me much. The only Dr. Beasley's product I've tried is their microsuede protectant and cleaner. It's a niche product not many others offer. In general I find the brand rather expensive.

This 100%.

I know the idea of sticking with one brand for simplicity is desirable, but there are so many great brands making great products, locking into one single brand is very limiting. The closest to doing that would be the likes of Carpro and ADS, but even then, there are products in those ranges I wouldn't buy again.
