Between compound and polish wipedown

How well do u wipe the compound ofc before polishing step. I am using gg fast corect and seems to smear on me after the correction steps should i do a ipa before polish step or not

buff off as much as you can. a little here and there isn't going to hurt but ideally you want the polish to polish, not mix with a bunch of compound. Personally I found Griot's Fast Correcting Cream way too difficult to remove. I stick with my M101. It dusts a little more but I find it cuts better and removes way easier.

Anyone in Central ohio can have a new bottle of Griots as I won't be using it.
 
Maybe i will switch to fg400 then polish .i agree the gg fast correct is difficult to remove

This is where a waterless wash type of product comes in handy. Some McKee's 37 N914 mixed as a paint prep or waterless wash ratio would work very well.
 
I personally need to wipe off completely after every section of every step. I need to see what that section's paint looks like now after the corrective effort. I don't want anything left but raw paint...no fillers, no haze, nothing. I use CarPro Eraser for that and I love it.
