Finally got 2 coats on today. What would be a good product to maintain it? BF synthetic spray wax? Any other product in the Blackfire line?

What would be a good product to maintain it?
•If you are satisfied with the results that
BF Spray Sealant gives to your vehicle...

-then I’ll suggest to use a maintenance
product that won’t cause any changes
to occur to those satisfactory results:

-McKee’s 37 N-914 comes to mind.
(Or: Meguiar’s D114...if you happen
to have some hoarded away.)

No maintenance product needed. Just put on some more sealant in a couple months.

Can this be used after BF all in one as an in between protection after car wash?

I read on amazon the sealant spray can damage microfiber towel is that true? Do you recommend a sealant spray after washing car or is it overkill if the car is properly waxed or sealed?

Your best source of info on this product will be via this forum, the webiste, and the people at AG....

No, it will do no harm to your towels. I do recommend some form of protection after a wash rather it be a QD, spray wax, or another form of protection. It is not overkill.

In the same boat. Got a coat of BF spray SiO2. I have synthetic spray wax as well and was going to use that weekly as my after wash or QD. Can I then put on another coat of spray SiO2 to jazz up the shine and slickness at any time or will there be any bonding issues?

I was also thinking, McKess Si02 soap would work well here. Both products are Si02 based. This would eliminate the need for any other follow up product after a wash.

If wanting to stick to the BF line, Coating booster and their coating wash may be worth a look.

I really see no harm in using their synthetic spray wax or McKess Extender spray wax either. That is what the McKess is made for. To extend/maintain the look of any sealant/coating. But you may alter the look or performance of the BF Spray sealant.

Just as an FYI, McKee's SiO2 wash leaves no protection behind. It leaves gloss enhancers to brighten up the paint without clogging a coated surface.

If you are just looking for a drying aid or quick detailer just get yourself some EcH2O. Then use the spray sealant periodically.

For BLACKFIRE SIO2 SPRAY SEALANT does glass get stuck in the towels? Do they have to be cleaned before reuse etc.?

I’ve had no issues with towels used with BF SiO2 Spray, but I put all my used towels in a bucket of MF cleaner right after use, let them sit then rinse them out, they will later be washed together in the washing machine.

Even if you don’t put them in cleaner right away, I haven’t heard of it ruining towels yet.

what's better to put on after ion sealant this or BF sio2?

I recently applied two coats of Jescar Power Lock Plus Polymer Sealant (Menzerna) to a clean and clayed surface. I have a bottle of Backfire Wet Diamond Polymer Spray and wondering if that is compatible with Power Lock? I believe they are similar compounds?? Would use the BFWD on occasion for a fresh up and preservation of the Power Lock after a washing.

Will this bead water? How does it compare to CarPro exlir?

Personally don't understand why you'd top BF SiO2 spray. It's a spray sealant, why not "top" it with itself? Or use a different spray product altogether.

I had sonus ion put on my car. I had to have water spots removed professionally. I didn’t want to use sio2 over ion.
