thanks. i used to be a prep guy in the body shop about 15 years ago so all of this stuff comes kind of easy to me. i <3 to wetsand. i did hate it when i would have to do it every day lol. i know how to mix primers & mix paint & do some spraying as well. i miss the body shop bt gave up that dream a long time ago. they want a freeking permit for everything & its alot of bread ($$$$$$$$$$$) so no dice for me.

thanks. 2,500 glasses out with the quickness.
back in the body shop i was trained with 1,500 & sometimes 2,000. for deep stuff that needed like a run in the clear or some fisheyes we would use 1,200. always work from 1,200>1,500>2,000 etc...
i wouldnt use 1,200 on a car today & 1,500 i have recently fazed out. now i only keep 2,000 & 2,500 in the shop. i still do all my wetsanding by hand. i dont agree with using machines to sand a car. ive seen some new things with wetsanding but i will always stick with what i was tought & do it all by hand. as long as you know what your doing you wont get "fingermarks". :buffing:
