The 64 has only 27000 miles on it. Paint was dull, oxidized and flat.

Car was left in garage for few years and in the last 2 or 3 years, it was left outside.

Tried a few things but would not respond to anything relating to rotating polishes. Made the paint looking worst and flat.

Did the megs # 7 bingo! It did the trick.
Did 5 applications of # 7 over 5 days.

Finished off with Pinnacle Souveran wax.

Perfection!

Lets get it done...

Rollin on....
Sit back and enjoy.

Hold tight...I have more!

Lets get the puppy some new shoes!
Rims were powder coated in satin black.
Going for the sleeper look!
Big tires in back and smaller tires in front.

Last pics---I promise!

And the car IS mine.

Thanks for looking.

awesome ride,, and great work you really brought that paint back from the dead

my boss has a 63 Starfire convertible,,all original 23k,,the dealership has owned it since 1970,,the first year they started selling cars there,,it mainly sits in the pole barn but comes out on occasion for a spin around town,,in the 20 years I've been working there the car has never touched for a detail,,only a wash and vacuum,,I wish the pics were better

Thank you!

Thanks to that detail class I took by a fella named Mike.

My life hasn't been the same since!

Key take away---Take the class! And put in hours and hours behind the buffer! Believe me---you'll start to see things before you even start anything!

Thanks to AutoGeek and to Mike for giving me a second career!

Thanks for jumping in...

Tom

I thought you might like the Starfire,,I hope it was ok to post it,,,I love the wheels and the sleeper work,I also forgot to ask you how tired your hands were after all that rubbing

That's ok Farmallluvr....

Jump in...!

Believe it or not...it wasn't all that bad.

And it went pretty quick too! Was kind of surprised!

Plus had 24 hours to rest before doing it all over again!
