Well Guys after a long session of pics with my little friend, (I'm not too good with the pics thing to show the problem areas) Tried two diferent Lights and like a dozen angles, But finally I've got some pics so you guys can help me, Hopefully.

  As I'm new to machine polishing and that, even though I've been like 13 years doing the basic wash and wax thing, I've been trying to help this hood, the paint condition on this bimmer is a mess through the whole car but it's look nicer now that I'm the owner.

I don't want to make this a very long story, but I just want a let you know what i've done to it diferent ocassions of course since I have it.

Tried with Meguiars Three step system(Cleaner, Polish And Wax) Not very happy with results.

Then Tried With Meguiars #9 And the #26 To, Happy with the protection but no with the Polish.

Tired tried with a little rubbing compund on the pad with #9 and then Polish And #26 And thats the result that you see in the pics.

Please Forgive me for the long story, Hope you guys help me to first know what's the problem and solve it. I'll try to upload some pics but i'm new to the forum too so let's see:cheers: :Picture:

That's what I'm using I think the problem is not proper technique.

Oh, I see. Well, #9 won't do much to those swirls, #9 is for paint thats in good condition. I suggest using something along the lines of XMT or something..

Maybe its my eyes but that last pic looks good.......;)

:iagree: I know a little about Meguiars because I've used some of there products but this XMT is well worth the money and a little goes a long way. Another thing to consider is the pad combination. Well that's about all feed back I provide you.

Thanks a lot guys, I Think I'll try the xmt line with proper technique that should take care of that, and about the last picture I think that's the angle that helps, and that's the part in better condition, Actually if you see the car from far you don't get to see the imperfections but very close you get to see it. Once again thanks a lot And Take Care.

Remember, go SLOW, if your going to go fast, you might as well not polish it at all. Let the polish do its thing. What pads do you currently have?

 I've got the meguiars soft buff pads, they're not bad but i think either the LC or the edge 2k should be a better quality.
