Bigger pads on boss g15??

Hey everyone one. Quick question, on the flex 3401 I know you can run up to 7 in pads with 5 in backing plat, is it possible to run bigger pads on boss g15 5 in backing plate instead of just 5.5 in pads?


And I also have 3in griots orbital, can I run 5 in' pads for wax's and sealants? Thanks

You can change the backplate to the 6 inch boss plate to run 6.5 inch pads or the Rupes 7 inch pads.

Increasing the size of the backing plate on the g15 will make it less aggressive.

Downsizing the backplate on the G21 will increase the aggression of the polishing.

But yes you can absolutely run the 6 inch plate if that is to your liking

Cool. I saw the g15 New on eBay for 280 so I picked it up but I'm planning on getting the g21 with 5 in backing plate as well. Heard the g10 worked good as well.
