I seen BH is releasing a new rw called Phat Neut. Supposedly you mix up a ratio for 'dry mode' to spray the vehicle down, let DRY then rinse it off.

Detail forensic femboys fanboys are going crazy over it on his youtube. Supposed to be priced cheap too.

Will it dethrone my beloved KCx or ADS?

I’m definitely going to give it a shot when it comes out. If it works even half as good as John says and is priced competitively it might be my new go to for RW.

That's when it's supposed to land at Carzilla. I haven't ordered anything (I can't, not available yet).
Carzilla can't ship to us in the U.S. till late June at the earliest. I emailed Detailed Image and they've decided not to carry it

I'm certainly one of those fan boys for sure, both Bilt-Hamber and Jon! I've yet to use a BH product that hasn't blown me away.

Now for me, it has it's work cut out as Feynlab v3 RW is my favorite PURE cleaner! If I wanna mix it up a bit I may use Labocosmetica Preludio alkaline or acidic BEFORE the Feynlab v3 RW, spraying it on, let dwell and then whatever RW I'm using as the usual pre-treat, I have yet to use the Preludio/Feynlab combo, would make for a great reset of your coated car and/or a clean base to "boost" it up

I've seen the video on it. To be honest when I watched the video it reminded me a lot like Feynlab rinseless. Don't really understand the " dry mode" thing but don't see that as any kind of advantage. Looks like it's going to be a heavy cleaning rinseless.

Seems like it spray on, let dry and rinse off would be good in the winter

Agreed, this is going to be quite a challenge for Bilt-Hamber, I mean I'm no YouTube star but I know this, Bilt-Hamber v3 RW is THEE best pure cleaning RW out there, Carbon Collective is a close 2nd.

I put Feynlab v3 RW to the ultimate test last fall as it was my only wash product I took with me on the Dragon run, cleaned the EN everyday I was there, including the 600 mile drive down and each days brutal assault on the EN and that rinse bucket was black, the EN looked factory fresh each morning, well other than the mountain dew from overnight down in that valley

Can't wait to get my hands on it and if someone finds it and they ship here or are here, let me know, I'd appreciate it

I just want something I can spray on my semi truck (chrome and plastic and paint) to get the bugs and road gunk off so it'll leave it looking good until i can get my weekly wash in.

I guess we will see in the summer how it performs. I seen it on Carzilla waiting to be sent by the mfg, so i am sure it will sell out quickly once vendors

I have a feeling bilt hamber doesn’t have an issue keeping people stocked, assuming go ferments aren’t making importing a disadvantageous proposition. Most of the time a lot of the stock shortages are from dealers not ordering with enough lead time, or being cash poor.

I'm a little confused about the dry mode aspect. Supposedly if you let the pre wash dry it works better. But you wouldn't let any other prewash dry. The object on the prewash is to lift the dirt and then rinse all the dirt off. Don't see where intentionally allowing it to dry would be an advantage.

It’s under specific conditions. It can’t be done if panel temps are above 50*C. Also after speaking with a few brands, that isn’t specifically hard to do from a chemistry standpoint point. The amount of cleaning power is where things are interesting, and what compromises that comes with. There is always a compromise. BH came up with a really interesting surfactant package, we just don’t know what they gave up in favour of cleaning power.

Hey Sheep, have you tried Labocosmetica Preludio alkaline or acidic, their pre-treat for RW's?

Don't let your rational thinking get in the way of the hype train! Hang tight for lots of praises and testimony....

I have not. Only labo products I have are glico and veritas. I should try more, Reggie is a great guy and fan of the channel.

I'm with you. The "dry mode" thing is confusing. If you car is dirty and you spray this stuff on I'm assuming it will run/drip a bit with the dirt in the product...which then dries on the surface. All you've done is move the dirt around and possibly made it harder to get off because it's now mixed in with a dried wash product.

Am I missing something? I understand the idea behind rinseless washes, but this one has me scratching my head.

Missing that you’re not a chemist? We have no information on how this works besides what we saw in Jon’s videos. We now know that dry mode doesn’t work on panels 50*C or hotter. We don’t even know the dilution ratio. I spoke with a couple brands about this product, and the drying part isn’t particularly special, rinseless washes can dry currently. It’s the cleaning power it has at PH7 that has them interested, and more specifically, what compromises were made to achieve that.

IMO the bigger question folks should be thinking about is what are you supposed to do while you are waiting for it to dry? Catch up on some youtube? On anything that's really dirty, I think most favor blasting it off with a pressure washer then proceeding to wash.
