Hello guys,
I have not detailed my cars in a while or been on the forum in a while. Decided to come back since I realized how much I loved this forum.

So I decided to wash my black escalade myself I used the following products

-Foam gun (I did put more than 3 ounces on the container)
-Armorall Ultrashine wash & wash
-Wash mitten
-Microfiber towels
-1 Bucket
- Water hose

I first rinsed the truck

Then I used the wash mitten to wash the truck lightly

Then I rinsed the truck

Then proceeded to dry the truck ( I was not in the sun this was around 6pm when it was already cool and sun was starting to go down.

Once I started to look at the truck when it was dry it had a lot of white spots on it, like fit the soap had not been taken off

Today I used turtle quick detailer and got it a little cleaner with less white marks, but still not perfect. Can anyone please share the steps to wash a black car products as well ?

My guess is you're going to need to machine polish the paint to get it right. Then start washing using a great wash "approach".

If this were my rig I would get a quart of BLACKFIRE One Step and after washing and dry, claying if needed, machine apply the BF One Step and then stand back and be amazed.

Then to wash it, use this approach and the coating wash I share.

Get this soap. Next time you see a GREAT sale on the AG store, purchase a gallon and never look back.

I’m not sure Armorall is the best wash to use. The issue could be other things, but using quality products will help narrow down what could be causing an issue like this, because you won’t have to wonder if the $5 wash soap rinses poorly.
