Hi,
I recently purchased a G9, G3 and what seems like way too many products. My Black 2011 F350 had never been corrected and was pretty scratched up so my goal was with this being my first paint correction, remove scratches and seal. Of course I got carried away with interior and other things along the way.

What I did was the following
  1. Wash with whatever auto soap I had
  2. Iron-x (which is amazing)
  3. Clay entire car
  4. Turtle Wax Tar and Bug remover (not great)
  5. Wash
  6. McGuire's Ultimate Compound, Had to use Griot's Microfiber pad for the tailgate scratches
  7. McGuire's Ultimate Polish
  8. Jet Seal One coat using black foam pad

The Truck came out great after about 12 hours. Problem was that after a light rain and pollen in the following days I applied Chemical Guys Waterless Wash then another day McGuire's Quick Detail which I think has wax. I think I would like to apply another coat of Jet Seal just because I only applied one. Is this even necessary? Then do Butter Wax and going forward using the Quick Detailers till my next polish.

To do a second coat of Jet Seal I'm assuming that I need to strip whatever is on top of the first coat of Jet Seal which in this case would be the Chemical Guys Waterless Wash and McGuire's Quick Detailer. These as a novice seem to be light coatings since they are quick detailers. What is the best way to remove them for my second coat of Jet Seal and is that even necessary?

Thanks.
