With the 5 year anniversary sale, I was deciding whether to pick up the Blackfire Duo or the Wolfgang Duo?
Which would be better for a beginner using a PC 7427XP?
Pads I have are LC orange and white flat-pads and Meg's MF compounding/polishing pads.

Which one of these brands would work better with Meg's MF pads?

I was also wondering where the Blackfire polishes/compounds line up with this wax chart Autogeek Swirl Removers & Compounds Comparison Chart

You couldn't go wrong with either honestly, but my personal preference is Blackfire Duo. Then again if you have Megs Compounding/polishing pads there is really no need for either WG or BF.

Get a bottle of D300 and possibly a finishing polish, someone will recommend one here that knows a larger variety of polishes than I have tried, Hope this helps!.

thanks. I was leaning towards the Blackfire since I have their Crystal Sealant and TnPS. Would it be wrong to use Blackfire SRC Compound with the Megs MF compounding pads? I just want to take advantage of the deal that's on sale right now.

If you're leaning towards Blackfire I would purchase it and get a free sample of Wolfgang. Remember, each time you spend $50, you get a 4oz sample. I acquired the twins this way.

I know that they are on sale, but I'd use a duo that's more well known like megs 105/205 or menz fg400 and sf4500. I'm waiting til april to buy a bunch of stuff. April has to have a 15 or 20% easter sale.

that's a great idea with the sample. I'll do that.

I have Megs ultimate compound. Not sure how that relates to the M105.

I know the M105/205 are well what most use but I just wanted to try something different.

I won't be able to order from AG for awhile though since I don't often go to the states and shipping to Canada is pretty expensive

Would Menzerna Fast Gloss Compound (FG-400) and Menzerna Super Finish (SF-4000) combo be enough for me? The SF-4500 is a bit more expensive but I can get the above combo for $42 which is a pretty good deal.

I just used the FG400 and SF4000 on my moms Tahoe last week. The FG400 corrected most spots on the vehicle with only a few passes. I did have a problem with it dusting but it was probably user error since its the first time I ever used a compound. The SF4000 was amazing. The gloss and depth that it brought out was incredible. Incredibly easy to use. Only a few pea sized drops was enough to do a large portion of a hood.

Decided that FG400 might be too aggressive so I order the
Menzerna SIP - Super Intensive Polish (IS 1500) PO 83 instead. I have Meg's UC if I need something more aggressive.
