Just finished doing my black Camaro and used Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish and Wet Diamond. What a joy the Blackfire line is. The car is so wet and glossy and Wet Diamond is so easy to apply and remove it's not even funny. Out of all the sealants I've used, Wet Diamond's application and removal is the easiest. Would you guys say it's the easiest to use or have any of you come across something that's even easier than Blackfire?

Throw another coat on and watch the gloss increase even more. have 2 coats on my avalanche and 2 coats of mid-night sun and for white it really pops. As much as white can

nope I agree...by far the easiest! wolfgang sealant is a close second but blackfire takes the cake.

Very easy to use and it makes silver very reflective and not just shiny.

I agree, I did the clay, finishing polish, gloss polish, wet diamond, midnight sun, gloss spray over this past weekend. My black lexus has never looked better and it was so easy to use.

Blackfire is one of the easiest sealants I have ever used. No dusting, super slick finish, and wipe off is a breeze.

:iagree:

Just applied two layers of BFWD over KAIO during the weekend, here are the results:

I agree with you on the Blackfire sealant. Blackfire, along with Wolfgang, are my two favorites. Hit it afterwards with DoDo juice Red Tropical Mist and the shine will knock you out! By the way, the Camaro is awesome. The finish is unbelievable.

I'll have to agree. I used it for the first time a couple months ago and was really surprised at how thin it applies and how removal is effortless once it hazes over.

The shine, reflection and depth of color it provides is tough to beat.

Love the stuff. You guys are making me want to strip the BMW and do another polish/seal/wax this weekend with all of this talk!

Of sealants that are buffed off:

Four Star UPP is the only one that looks as good and is even easier to apply and remove.

I don't really use any other sealants besides BFWD these days. It's just pros in all categories. Can't think of a single con. Here's my Mustang with some BFWD from last weekend.

Don't mean to hijack this thread...but I have a question about the proper way to prep your paint for BFWD. Do you need to use anything special before you apply this sealant to get the max durability, or is it OK to use it straight after washing without any prep? (assuming your paint doesn't need any prep and is LSP ready)

Just wondering because of the Klasse twins...they say to use AIO 1st, then apply the SG. I guess the AIO gives the SG a better bonding surface? I'm not sure...

It depends on what you washed it with but if properly decontaminated and polished you can wash with a stripping wash like TAW to remove the excess oils, use a paint cleaner that is BFWD friendly, or use an Eraser type product.

I was going to say the same. I loved 4* UPP until I ran out. I have some Blackfire now and it really seems similar in that they are both so easy to apply and remove, though I think the slickness edge goes to 4*.

A properly prepared surface is the foundation for its final appearance.

If the surface is dull and lifeless applying a sealant or wax is a waste of time and good product. Oxidation and other contaminates also keep the products from properly bonding greatly reducing its effectiveness and shortening its life.

After paint correction or polishing thoroughly wash the surface with something like Griot's Paint-Prep, CarPro Eraser, or Klean Strip Prep-All with make it ready for the next step...

By following the basics the finish on your car or truck will not only glow, it'll have some great long term protection.

  1. Wash
  2. Clay
  3. Polish
  4. Seal
  5. Wax
