Blackfire Wet Diamond

Blackfire says to let the wet diamond sealant properly cure before applying the midnight sun wax. What is the average cure time for the sealant? They don't say.

I usually wait at least 6 hours. Most of the time I let it sit overnight though.

Some members say that since the polymers in both products are the same there is really no need to wait very long. But I would wait a little if you are able to let it cure.

The recomended wait time is 8 hours.

I suggest a minimum of 8 hours and preferably 24 hours as possible. Likely depends most on the environment the finish was sealed within.

Same here. Can't really say if the longevity was compromised by not waiting, but the hydrophobic properties are still present.
