is there a special tips to clean old blood stain on a seat?Im the MAN

I know hydrogen peroxide takes blood out of carpet. Try a little section under the seat to see if it messes with the coloring before trying it up top.

Peroxide may work well but as the above poster said test spot... Blood is an iron rich stain so if you can get a rust remover that is safe for fabrics that should help... is it a lot or just a spot?

I DON't know,, I will see in about 1h30. the customer awared me they were blood stain..

If there is a lot you need to start worrying.... If it is just a little try a bit of water and distiled white vinagar... first then move to the peroxide if it didn't work get basic info like how long has it been there... If there is a lot you will want to take pictures and keep them on hand if anything seems kinda fishy...

When I worked for Chem-Dry we did blood removal and if there was more than aprox .1 oz we had to report it to the locals...

.1 oz is roughly equal to that of a bloody nose...

krypton upholstery cleaner _ MEG apc+ with an extractor and cold water worked fine for me.

Do you know where this blood came from? Hope your not cleaning a crime scene

The first thing I do when I find blood on my seat is to call my attorney. +1 on the Folex...has worked for me in the past on light blood stains.

X3 on Folex. It would be the safest to try. I recently tried peroxide on a large, blood-stained shirt (had already been washed). They both did very little.

Blood stains are protein and are considered bio-hazards.
Have you had any PPE, Bio-hazard, Blood-Borne Pathogens, OSHA training?

Anyway:
Special precautions, such as these, should be taken:
-Protective gear (face mask, nitrile gloves doubled-up, disposable apron and cap, etc.)
-Red Bio-hazard Bag for disposal of all the protective equipment and materials used for this cleanup.
-Contact numbers of the proper authorities for pick-up/disposal of Bio-hazards

Don't expose yourself to any unknown dangers!

Just some well intended thoughts.

Note:
I found a product that's most helpful for protein stain removal and it can be found on Detail Plus' web-site.
