If you’ve got really soft paint, yes.
But barring your vehicle having paint you can’t even touch without instilling swirls everytime you do.. I prefer using a towel to dry. I feel like the final pass with the drying towel helps maximize the shine because there’s always bound to be trace amounts of residue after a wash & rinse that only a damp towel can physically remove. This is even more apparent on the wheels. 9 times out of 10 I’ll use a wheel cleaner then blow dry wheels. They look good enough, but if you really want to get them perfect then you need to finish them off with a clean damp microfiber towel. Same rule applies to the paint.

Anytime you touch the car you risk scratching and maring the paint. If you can dry without anything touching it, yes that's better.

From what I’ve witnessed:
1.) There will be quite a bit more build-up
of Static Electricity, upon vehicles’ surfaces,
whenever they are wiped down with a cloth.
2.) Static Electricity seems to attract dust
in a similar fashion as does a magnet attract
ferromagnetic metals.

Leaf blower will work fine. I use the EGo blower.
As long as the car isn’t sitting on dirt or gravel you should be fine.

Regular leaf blower meaning gas powered leaf blower? You don’t want to use a gas powered leaf blower.

No. Not in the least.

The only concern would be that huge wand waiting for an accident to happen. 1st and only time I used my Ridgid vac as a last resort to blow dry a car I dinged it thanks to waving around that big of a wand.

I’ve use gas, battery, and corded blowers and haven’t had any problems with any of them. I actually prefer the gas due to the higher volume of air.
If your car is not coated or your wax/sealant is not fresh blowing dry is not easy. It still is good to get around mirrors and gas caps, and don’t forget the wheels.

Sort of similar story with this Ridgid Blower Wand. I found it on Ebay for like $13 bucks a while back but now this wand is next to impossible to find or buy. All I know is it works like a gem and worth its weight in gold. Lol
I only use it to sweep though, not for drying cars because it’s dangerous for cars.

I’ve got a Metro Sidekick for car duties but I’m not really a blow out interiors type. I love vacuuming.
