okay so i just recieved my order from the fall 20 percent off sale and i was going to hold off on detailing my car i was going to do it maybe within the next two weeks but i woke up this morning and couldnt resist! i detailed my car before biochemistry class at 2:30 lol

i didnt polish my car with my GG DA polisher because i dont have time for that right now, i know it woulda brought out the shine MUCH MUCH more and i do have some spiderweb swirls but its not that serious, i will fully polish my car in spring time :D

Steps used
rinse car with firehose nozzel
purple power degreaser on tires
IRON X on wheels(or should i say steelies lol) both were agitated with brush
rinse wheels/tires and dry

Wash
-Meguiars ultimate wash
Dry
Clayed with meguiars smooth surface clay using meguiars quick detailer spray
dry with cobra 16" mf towel
Blackfire wet diamond paint sealant (buffed off after entire car was coated with 24 inch Cobra ultra plush MF towel

followed by Blackfire midnight sun wax Buffed off with another
24 inch Cobra ultra plush MF towel

tires were coated with Ultima tire and trim guard plus (really good natural sheen!)

BLACKFIRE IS JUST FREAKEN AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although i must admit WOLFGANG deep gloss paint sealant is right up there with Blackfire!! it comes off alot easier than Blackfire wet diamond but thier both awesome!

Images were taken with canon 50D with 16-35mm wide angle lens at f stop between 5.6 and 8.0 at shutter speed between 160 and 250

after looking at them on photobucket the quality decreased alot after uploading :( it looks much color and richer on my computer and the camera

well here is the album

did you wait for the sealant to cure before topping?

i waited about 45 mins, i went inside and had breakfest, so no lol i didnt wait for it to cure but i will do another round before winter and i will let it cure

I'm so confused...first of all I thought that was a foreign license plate...but it says NY...what kind of NY plate is that? Never seen one like that. Second, how did you get the car to stay sideways like that in a couple of those pics? Is that due to the BFWD? And third, does, WDGPS have something similar to the Polycharger in BFWD? Or does the WG not last as long?

Sorry...I think I've been hanging around Flash too much...

those plates are United States Coast Guard Auxiliary plates. im a member of the USCG AUX.

and i believe WGDGPS has polychargers in it too but im not 100 percent positive, or something similar. It IS a GREAT product as well.

and what do you mean sideways? do you mean how the picture was rotated? if thats what you mean its because i took it vertically when i shot the image and i didnt rotate it before i put it on photobucket

Cool about the Coast Guard! There's at least one other member who is retired CG (not me). Glad to hear the WG is durable...and I was teasing you about the photo rotation (Flash is a bad influence on me).

lol haha its cool, im a wedding photographer but i didnt feel like changing the rotations on the comp i just wanted to show you guys quick.

and yeah im not an OFFICIAL CG but im a volunteer helper. theres benefits to it like getting free train rides/metro. United states department of homeland security badge, military discounts. cops never give me tickets when i show them my badge for my tints

It really does look great on blue. Same with black! I can't stress enough how awesome BFWD is. It's the only sealant I use! Actually heading back outside in a moment to finish polishing up my Si to get it ready for a couple coats of BFWD for winter.

NiCe! Which Si you have? I have 06 Si in habanero red pearl!

The blue does look great I have a sample of BFWD I still never used
