Texas Bluebonnets! Don't see too many down here in the Valley. Beautiful pictures!

Those are some beautiful pictures! Since I have the same camera, do you mind sharing your settings?

And what program are you using for post processing?

Great great work! I had been thinking about taking a class as well since that really is the only way you're ever going to get the full use of your nice camera.

ya man, i shot all of it in AV mode...i took about 300 pictures yesterday...on lake grapvine in texas there is a part that has 100 yards of blue bonnets..its amazing...but i shot in AV mode and just go out one day and mess around with it ...it helps so much...most of my close ups were set at 5.6 to 4.0 aperature....you want to single focus on that subject and throw everything ells off...heres an example of a way i used it with a wide angle lens...

this was shot with aperature actully at 11 and it gets the front in focus and throws everything ells off...really cool how it works..

and in a picture like this...the aperature was set to 5.6 and gets a good dof to get the whole flower in focus but blurs the back...my best advise is just take all the pictures you can....let me know if you have any other questions..and i also just used the software it came with to process..photo studio 5.5
