BMW Dakota Leather (2006)-How to soften and rejuvenate?

2006 BMW 330i. It was not well cared for before I bought it. Leather is very "firm." A leather piece under the seat is very soft and supple. I realize this is the lower end of leather and coated. How can I soften up the leather seats? Will Leatherique Rejuvenator work on this?

You might want to look at Colourlock. They have products that achieve the results you're looking for, at least in the videos I've seen.

I also experienced this problem on a 2005 bmw I did a couple weeks ago.
