boars hair brushes

anyone have any experience with boars hair vs sea sponges? does boar hair tend to leave light scrathes, and is it easy to rinse using 2 bucket method

Let it soak in some water prior to using. If used in conjunction with soap then it shouldn't scratch.

i use them with soap and usually on RV`s , probably is ok on commercial /fleet vehicles , boats.

I love my montana boars hair brush. It does smell like a wet dog alot, but it is great for large vehicles. I just let it foam soak in a bucket for about 30 minutes while I do wheels, then go to work. I use a quickie brand hardwood and metal threded broom handle to do my washes

I've found that mine leaves very light swirls, so I only use it before I'm correcting. They clean great - cleans the tight spots well. However, must admit, I did not soak it first. I will try that next time.
