All:
I finally got the nerve to take my 2000 mile new vehicle in to get the paint redone on the fenders, since Honda apparently can't do that in the factory. I had DO NOT WASH signs everywhere.
Manager called and asked if they could hand wash it. I told him that was fine, since it had dust all over it, and I'm polishing soon for Uber Ceramic coating.
As soon as I opened the door, I was hit with the worst air freshener in the entire world.
You know the stuff they spray in a 75,000 mile $3,000 used car to get rid of the smell so they can sell it? It's that. Makes my brand new $40k car smell like someone tried to cover up a rotting cadaver.
What at on earth is it, and how do I get rid of it? I mean, I had Ultima Interior Guard all over the surfaces inside. I'm willing to do what it takes to restore my new car smell. I was so nauseous on the way home, I wanted to just pull into a dealer and trade it.
Any my ideas for me?
