Hey everyone.

Yesterday I got a good deal on a Toyota Hiace, so I bought it. The plan is to remove all the stickers, and clean it up, then sell. I will earn about 3000$ on it. Not to bad.

Any tip on how to remove the stickers? I am thinkin a blow dryer..

Here are some pics I took yesterday:

never had any stickers on my car, so never had to deal with them...wanna keep an eye on this post...

You can use a blow dryer and dental floss or fishing line, dental floss is better. WD40 or Goof Off will remove any glue residue. Then you start your detail and run to the bank! :D

When my parents baught my truck it had some cheesy sport stickers on the back. I used a blow dryer to pull up the edge, after that they came up easy.

Try a plastic razor blade, and for glue residue use the surf city grime destroyer

Nice find Pirex! Yes, a heat gun will do the job, don't forget the white spirit!

First of all congrats on the investment ;)

Now I've never had to remove sikers or anything like that so I too am interested as to what other members will say here.

Thanks for all the tips guys and girls :D I have removed many stickers today. Used a blow dryer and my nails. Worked great ;) I will post pictures later!

Congrattis Pirex!
I bet your nails is hurting!
I use 60C water and a scrape to remove stickers. Works great.
Is it the AWD?

I don't have anything to add as far as getting the stickers off. I hope your investment and hard work pay off good. I'm sure it will look great when you are finished.

The Hiace is the most popular work-car in Norway. Easy to sell :)

ChristR: Thanks buddy! Yes, my nails is not good. lol. And yes, they are popular, so I hope it will go fast!

Congratulations on your purchase. When I first saw the van and started to read, I thought you had bought it to make it into a mobile detailing van! LOL Then I read that you were going to pretty it up and sell it.
Looks like you got quite a few of those stickers off. Hope you make a killing! :D

How is the color difference on the paint after removing the stickers?

And congrats with your new car, and good luck selling it again....lol

She'll be a beauty when she's done KT! You should get a plastic scraper so you won't kill your nails :p
