My first experience with the Bouncer had been a great one, so I was anxious to try Looking Sweet Wheel Wax on the Accord that I had applied Capture The Rapture to the night before.

Up Close & Personal: Bouncer's Capture the Rapture

Capture the Rapture is more than just another carnauba wax that makes paint glossy and smooth, it's something special. Developed over a strenuous 10 month period by a car-wax enthusiast named Jay (known as the "Bouncer"), Capture the Rapture Car Wax promises to provide a stunning visual appearance that will surely impress even the most discriminating car wax enthusiasts. Bouncer’s Capture the Rapture Car Wax is crafted entirely by hand in Buckinghamshire UK.

I thoroughly enjoy waxing a nice set of wheels, so when Jay (The "Bouncer") announced that he was coming out with an all-synthetic wheel wax, I was all ears.

The test subject was a 2013 Honda Accord Sport. The "Sport" model has gorgeous 18 inch aluminum wheels that feature painted inserts that make the wheels look like they belong on a much more expensive vehicle.

Bouncer's Looking Sweet Wheel Wax really made the clear coated polished aluminum sections sparkle, while making the metallic flake look like it was about to explode out of the painted sections.

Per Jay's instructions, I applied Looking Sweet Wheel Wax with a microfiber applicator. It was a breeze to apply and remove. I would estimate that the 100 ml. jar would easily wax hundreds (not a typo) of wheels. It goes on VERY thin.

If you're a wheel wax junkie like myself, Bouncer's Looking Sweet Wheel Wax is well worth a look.

Did you forget to use this?

LOL, kudos to you for being the first person to point that out.

I have a bottle of Hyde's Serum Rust Stopper sitting on my desk to take home with me. ;)

Excellent review again Nick :xyxthumbs: Looking Sweet is certainly high on my to try list and would like to see it go head to head with some other wheel waxes such as cg wheel guard and auto finesse mint rims. I have heard nothing but great things on looking sweet!

Thanks for taking the time

ahhh I couldn't resist any longer, ordered!

Hard to resist this wheel wax...
Everything is coming up pink!

That car is looking top Nick! Just an FYI, the faces on those wheels are machined, not polished. The whole wheel is actually painted the color of the pockets, then put on a CNC lathe. A cutter bit then machines the entire face removing aluminum and any paint. If you look closely you can actually see the machine lines in the metal from the cutter head. After the wheel is machined, its clear coated.

So, question for you Nick or anyone else. Will this product do anything to reduce the amount of brake dust build up that is so common on German cars? My brother has an e63 amg and my longer than a 30 minute trip car is a bmw 330ci. With in 3-4 days the wheels on both cars are completely coated in brake dust and they look quite bad.

The best thing to do on German cars is change the brake pads to reduce or eliminate brake dust.

However using a wheel sealant or coating will also help reduce build up.

I't's going to make the surface slicker, which will make brake dust removal easier.

To significantly reduce brake dust, I would follow Mike's suggestion and have the brake pads replaced.
