Hey all! So I am officially winding down on my first year as a part-time detailing specialist and have been going through my portfolio updating projects/cars, etc. Working full-time makes things tough but I am slowly putting together my Facebook page/website/etc.

Anyways, I came across a particular Mustang I did in late August and wanted to share. This is a 2001 Bullit Mustang. The car you see was actually damaged in a tornado in March of 2012. The fenders, hood, and roof all had to be replaced as a tree fell on the car. The client contacted me because once the car had been resprayed a previous detailer had left some deep swirls and scratches from improper use of a buffer.

I'm uploading these from a remote location so I only have 8 photos on my phone and will have to get a few more of the before photos once I get home this evening. As you can see from the after photos though the car with its dark metallic paint really took nicely to proper care.

Products used were as follows:

Blackfire Rinseless Wash/Two bucket system seperate sponges for wheels/body going wheel by wheel first then top to bottom
Pinnacle Clay Bar
Chemical Guys Metal Cleaner - Exhaust
Wolfgang Concourse Exterior Trim Treament - Plastics
Stoner's Glass Cleaner
DP Wheel Cleaner/ DP Tire Gel/ DP Wheel Glaze for the rim/ CG for the lip
Meguiars 105, 205, M26 Wax, M21 Sealant
Yellow, White, Black, Blue pads
Meguiars APC for inner wheel wells undercarriage

Looking real good. Love the metallic flake in that Bullitt. Can't wait to see the site, what's the current ETA?

True Blue Bullitt with SVE 10th Anniversary wheels - I love it!

Looking around mid to late December. I have around 20 customer cars photos I have yet to edit and finish write ups on. Thanks for the comments!

Thanks! The owner was beyond overjoyed at the finished result.

I don't remember those wheels, remember the 10th anniversary SVT wheels on the Cobra Stang but not those. I also almost forgot they made blue and black Bullett's in 2001, but then got themselves together in 2008 with the 2nd version of the Bullett and offered in green only, just like the "Bullett" movie car, there was only one color....GREEN!

Now as far as the work done on the car, nice!

I most definitly had a buddy with a Black 2008 Bullitt. Green was exclusive to the Bullitt but it for sure wasn't the only color for 2008.
