My wife's 2008 Saturn Outlook constantly has brake dust on the front wheels. Is there any way to avoid this? It kills me when I see people who's front wheels are black due to neglect, and I WILL NOT be one of these people. I am always wiping the front wheels off. Any help would be great.

I would look into coating the wheel with Opti Coat or Car Pro DLux. This will help repel brake dust. The next major step would be to switch your brake pads over to a low dusting pad, such as a ceramic type.

Put a couple of coats of collinite 845 on them after you clean them. It is great and been doing this for years. It won't stop permanently but can help reduce.

The only way to stop the dust is to replace the pads.I think ceramic pads are your best bet. I Opti-Coated my wheels to make cleaning easier.

Armor All Shield for Wheels or Meguiars Brake Dust Barrier.

Or.....a good durable wax or Opti Coat.
