Hi my name is Brandon I am 19. I work at F40 Motorsports for Wayne Carini.

I am very excited to learn as much as I can from all of the experienced people on here. I will also share some of my work.

I have had the opportunity to work with Mike Phillips once at the shop when they came to shoot an Autogeek segment for Chasing Classic Cars. It is an experience I will never forget.

I learned a lot working with Mike Phillips and also read his book cover to cover. I have been applying what I learned over the past year with great results. I have been detailing for about a 1.5 years now so I still have a lot to learn and I am hoping to get some of that from here.

Welcome to Autogeek Brandon!

Cool! Welcome.

I guess Wayne has no interest in classic muscle cars? He never has any on the show. He's one of the few with TV shows that I would trust to fix a car correctly.

Nice background to start, I'm Wayne's Fan and have no words to say about Mike Phillips, he signed my Flex 3401 which I use daily on details.

Welcome, hope to see you around!

Count on me when needed,

Kind Regards.

Welcome to AGO Brandon! :welcome:

Pretty cool having both you and Marius now hanging out on the forum. We had a good time buffing out Wayne's 1953 Hudson together, I have quite a few pictures from that project but don't have them all on the forum, here's one though when we were buffing out the paint on the roof of the Hudson using the Porter Cable 7424XP

Here's Marius and Brandon using the Porter Cable with Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish to "carefully" clean and polish the original paint after we first rubbed the paint down with #7

I used MS Paint to draw a line around the section to make it easy to see the before and after difference where Marius has buffed and where the original dirty paint remains. This is an example of DIP or Dirt in Paint also called,

  • Dirt Staining
  • Dirt Embedded Paint
  • Stained Paint

Here's the picture, not the difference in the color of green on either side of the black line...

Welcome aboard and looking forward to seeing all the pictures of some of the cool cars Wayne lines up for you guys to work on.

Welcome to autogeek from right around the corner of their massive warehouse.:buffing:

Welcome to Autogeek! I wish I knew about Autogeek when I was 19. Glad to have you on board!

Welcome to Autogeek. I have seen you a couple of times on the show pop in and out.
I love the show.

HUMP

What a great experience at your age, take it all in and enjoy the heck out of it.

You learned from The Best now come meet the rest! Welcome.
