How long does it take to charge the Brinkman and does the red light go off when fully charged? Bought my Brinkman about 1.5 mos. ago and I believe it took about 4 hrs. to fully charge a new light. I've used it a few times, but it's been sitting for most of the time, so I thought it might need a charge. It's been on for 6 hrs. and the red light is still on. Is this normal?Feed back please

You have to wait for the red light to go off, which will indicate that the light is fully charged. Time will take between 4 - 8 hrs (depending on how dead it is).

Hope that helps you out.

Wow 8 hrs. Only took 4 hrs. the first time, guess it might have been charged from the factory. Thanks, thought I ask instead of frying my battery.

I have one that I don't use very often so when I think I might, I leave it charging overnight. The light is off when I check it. It should not fry the battery with the new technology that's available now.

Thanks, I probably will do the same as I don't use it often. BTW the red light just went out after 7 hrs.
