Another weekend full of racing, Bruno still on fire!

"We are four races into our 2014 race season and have qualified number one twice and reached two finals already! Unfortunately, mechanical misfortune has kept us from the winner’s circle thus far, but we are very optimistic for the long season ahead.

This past weekend at the JEGS All-Star event we were a broken hi-gear away from being the first comp driver to win the event four times (in just six years). We did have the opportunity to carry the ESPN2 on board camera for the event, which will air this coming Saturday July 5th at 1:00pm ET. I also had the privilege of joining the ESPN crew as a guest in the booth for Friday night’s professional qualifying coverage, which is a first for a sportsman racer.

At this point in the season, we typically have quite a few more races under our belts, but a new television project has pushed our schedule back a bit. In addition to hosting “TruckU” which is now in its eighth season and airing on Velocity, I’m now hosting a new primetime show called “Garage Squad” which will debut August 1st on Velocity as well. We still have our sights set on chasing Championships in both Competition Eliminator as well as in Stock Eliminator (with our new 2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro), it’s just a matter of us running more events a little later into the calendar year.

Thank you for your continued support and wish us luck as we head to Norwalk, OH this weekend for the NHRA Summit Racing Nationals.
Sincerely,
Bruno Massel"
