I did a engine detail today and i noticed that I need more brushes. I have a mothers one that I use for my rims and tires. Any brushed you would recommend? thanks

Thanks for the link. I will add the 3-piece kit. I used optimum opti-bond tire gel. I use it on all my plastic trim

Wheel Woolies, Daytonas and Race Glaze detail set: all have their place.

:iagree:

Initially, you might get away with a starter set, but once you really get down, you will always find a use & having needs for different types/sizes. This is one tool I don't feel wasteful nor regret spending money on [quality] units.

ps
Auto Finesse's brushes are pretty nice. Too bad AG does stock it.

If you could chose one set, which one would your get first? I like multiple purpose products

I would not be without my Race Glaze set! I also use foam and bristle paint brushes along with toothbrushes of different sizes and stiffness. The small Daytona also comes in handy under the hood.

I agree. I don't think anyone can have too many brushes. I am always on the prowl for brushes everywhere I go.

This little brush here is my favorite and most used.
I've had it for months and it still looks like the day I bought it.
A must have :dblthumb2:
Not bad for six bucks with free shipping :)

At the very minimal, these two offerings from AG would be a good start, IMO:

The Clean Wheel Lug Nut Brush & Deep Reach Wire Wheel Brush

For around $20, these two make wheels & engine bay cleaning a lot less work. More brushes is better, of course, but for a bare essential start-up set, these two are tough to beat.
