This is my first encounter with non-sponge pads.

A few observations:

- Excellent cutting ability, hard to compare with any sponge pad
- No heat (or very little)
- It can be used as a finishing pad (hard to believe but true)
- Easy to wash

What made me a bit concerned is it's behavior whilst on a panel. :wowwow:

It nearly feels like a rotary (I was using 3401 {speed 5}+ 3D One).

Stiff

Dances around like there is no tomorrow. I know, it should be 100% parallel to the panel, but still a pain to control.

And it jumps again ..

Apart from keeping it parallel to the panel, any suggestions to make the process more enjoyable guys ?

Again - happy with the end result for sure !

165 views and no answer, it appears that I'm the only one who has Uro microfiber pads ..?! :wowwow:

Yaaay ..!

Seriously, any feedback from anyone, thanks.

Microfiber pads tend to be on the thinner side and become grabby when used on forced rotation polishers. The same reason why thinner pads became popular on free spinning polishers is the same reason why you don't want them on a forced rotation polisher. More of the energy from the machine you are using is transferred to the surface you are working on. Free spinning polishers are prone to stalling so you want as much energy as possible to be transferred to the surface you are polishing. This will work against you when using a forced rotation polisher. Wool pads seem to be more popular on forced rotation units, the lake country purple foamed wool is highly touted.

Switching to a polish that has more lubrication would usually help, but 3D One has some great lubricity so that is probably not an issue.
