I'm a newbie at this whole thing. I usally send my car to a detailer. But the shop has closed up.

I would love to do this myself but worried that i might destoy my paint on my black Vdub.

What should i do. I do have scratches in my paint and you sure and see them when you on top of my car when the sun is bright. And to me it sucks.

I'm just so new at this. And i have read allot about pinnacle and it sounds pretty good.

I'm planning on getting the scratch kit with the buffer really soon and i will also order the whole pinnacle kit inside and out.

But i still have wonders if i can really do this

order a porter cable or any of the other Orbitals.... being a beginner that is the way to go...very hard to mess up your paint with one....

The pc (porter cable) is very safe even for a beginner. If you can afford the Flex get it. It is more powerful than a pc, but will not inflect paint burns like a rotary can if not careful. They all have a learning curve, but the DA polishers are the easiest and safest machines on the market. You can do it, go for it!!

Da polishers ?

You need a Porter Cable/Pads/Polish and Wax/Sealant and MF towels

If we knew where you were located, perhaps someone would be willing to give you a crack at the PC in order to encourage your addiction.

I live in Lexington,SC

Would be willing to give you a hand...but 1100 miles is just a bit too far.

Your plan sounds good. You can do it. Once you have your initial set up you are good for a very long time.

an orbital buffer like the PC, G110, or Flex is a worthy purchase and quite safe when directions are followed. You'll likely wish you did so sooner once purchased.
