Like many, I moved up from the PC 7424 to a FLEX. Decided I still needed a FLEX, so picked up a new one(old style), for $74.99. One of my favorites though, is the Griots 3" Random Orbital--have found it great for a multitude of things--I have all of the LC 4" pads, along with the GG pads, but have found that I like using the Polishing Pad combo pads with it.

Sounds like you got quite a deal on the flex. I'm jealous as I've never seen it at that price.

The $74.99 was referring to the PC--I picked up the FLEX and Griots here on AG.

I read it wrong too and man what a price for any flex. As for pads, the PC seems to work best with 5.5 inch pads and 5 inch backing plate or Edge Adapter and 4 inch Cyclo pads IMO.
