Buffing Pads

Ok,im an experienced Detailer,but never used a two sided buffing pad. Could someone tell me the purpose of this pad? I saw one @ a shop i was working ,but never saw anyone use it.

It's the Edge pad. You need a special adapter. The advantage is two sided and perfect centering.
