Bug Remover

A very sharp wood chisel and a ball peen hammer.

:laughing::laughing:

But seriously, there are many products out there for bug removal. (Both product and sponges.)

I don't have a problem with bugs, so I cannot recommend any specific ones, sorry.

Maybe the Florida "Love Bug" guys will chime in here...........

The one from Sonax and their bug sponge works extremely well for me.

Nextzett Anti-Insekt. I’ll spray it on before I foam.

BF Bug Sponge with whatever bug chemical is handy.

All the bug removers I have tried have smelled and performed roughly the same, so pick one from the usual suspects and team it with a bug sponge (Sonax or TRC Jersey Bug Scrubber). Just know that these products will put a dent in a traditional wax or sealant.

Poorboys World Bug Remover just melts the bugs away. One of the best products on the market for the price!

My mechanical solution is the Sonax bug scrubber and my chemical solution is Poorboy's Bug Squash.

I don't always use them together, it depends on the situation. I'll often use just the pad soaked in my wash solution for glass like the windshield and for light bug splatters I'll do the same on the paint. In moderate cases I'll use the Bug Squash and my wash mitt will remove the mess as I wash. If we're talking about a post-road trip bug massacre, both tools will be fully utilized.

3D Bug Remover and BF bug sponge. Then i clay mitt.

I've tried several bug removers and they're all pretty good. I think the dedicated bug remover "sponges" make the difference.

Bilt Hamber Surfex HD at 10:1.....it has performed as well as any dedicated bug remover I've used

Gotta get me some of that, briar. Heard LOTS of good on it.

So far...been very happy with it. Works great out of an IK foamer as well as pump sprayer. I run it through one of those Home Depot cheapie HDX sprayers at 10:1 for bugs, wheel wells, road grime, wheels....and use it around the house as well. It's kind of expensive, but some things are expensive because they are worth it

I've been using Surfex for machinery cleaning, that stuff has some real grunt!

From this.................

To this..................

The great thing about it is that it offers exceptionally strong cleaning power without having to deal with harsh solvent based products.

Is that the chainsaw you use to get the bugs off? Some tough bugs in Australia.;)
