Anyone know if that yellow pad in a ShMitt is the same material as the Pinnicle Bug & Tar Pad ? Pictures sure look similar.

Not sure, but I just bought the Pinnicle Bug and Tar Pad. Ive already got a bunch of mitts, plus the Pinnicle was cheaper.

If it is not exactly the same, they are identical. Yellow foam on a Shmitt works just fine at removing bugs and tag. be sure to use soapy water for proper lubrication, otherwise you may get a lot of swirls.

I got my Pinnicle pad today. I certainly doesnt feel like anything I would touch the paint with. Well have to see how it changes when use with water/ soap.
