Bump in leather?

Recently noticed a few raised areas / bumps in my leather. Leather is only 3 years old, treated well, conditioned probably 3 times a year. Really just never seen this happen before. I know its not too terrible, but not looking for it to get any worse. Took a few pics to help explain what I'm talking about...

Anyone know something I can do about this? Leather failure isn't supposed to happen this early (or at all)!

Just looks like the leather has stretched a little. Not sure there is much you can do about it.

Yep looks stretched. Do you have a very competent leather worker in your area? There is a guy near me that works with common to exotic leather. He usually does saddles and holsters but has forgot more about leather than I will ever know. I have watched him work and he uses water to reshape it; however, I wouldn't try it on upholstery. Point is, you might be able to get better advise from a master leather worker.

Those seats are Mustang seats and they do have shiny leather from the factory and you're not going to get rid of the shine. You can clean them but they'll still be shiny when you're finished no matter what you use. I have a Mustang and use Leather Masters for cleaning and protection and they're still shiny. If I ever change the leather I'll go to a matte finish as I prefer that over the standard Mustang shine.

Yes, they will always be shiny. One thing that did dull them was spilling 16 ounces of coke all over them, but 80% came back once cleaned:D
 
Thanks for referencing that post. Hot water is what the guy I know works with. It is nice to see that this is used on leather upholstery.
