Also if you have your actual name in your business name you wont have to File for a DBA. If im not mistaken at least.
Choosing a name is hard ill admit. It took me almost a solid month or 2 before i was happy with one. Problem was id come up with a name then see if the domain name is available and a lot of the time it wasnt.
Try to choose a name that applies to your area if you dont want your name in it. Also think about search engines and customers when you choose a name.
For instance If you lived in dallas texas or something a great name would be something like Dallas car detailing or On site Car cleaining in Dallas. sure the name sounds terrible but the name lets the customer know where youre located and exactly what you do. On top of that if i knew nothing about detailing cars or even that mobile detailers existed id go to google and type in something like Dallas car wash or car waxing in dallas. So your name would pop up on sites like google easily.
Here is another thing you can do. Get a bunch of words that are synonymous with clean or elite and then get some words that describe what you do.
Example:
Elite
Pristine
Pinnacle
Sparkle
Shine
then get other words that let the customer know what you do
Example
Detailing
Detailer
Car cleaning
Automotive cleaning
Workx
Workz
Then add them together and see how you like it.
Once you figure out a name go to godaddy.com and type the name. See if its available before you go through with everything else.
Like i said though it took me a good solid 2 months before i figured out a name that i really liked and im a very creative person. So unless you are going with your name followed with what you do as a company name then its not easy but i will say its the easiest part of the whole detailing business lol.
Good luck hope that helps
