I traded in my 2004 Chevy Colorado ZQ8 for a new 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Express. I had a great time with the Colorado over the years but it was time to upgrade. I love the new Ram. I have only had it for about two weeks now and I can only say good things about it. I will be doing a full detail on the Ram within a couple of weeks and I will take some pictures. I think I will be applying the Optimium Opti-Coat 2.0 Permanent Paint Coating for long term protection.

I liked the rado Bobby, but good job on the ram. Like the color. Mods?

Good luck with your new ride, Bobby.

Who deserves it more than you?

I liked the Colorado too. The Colorado was a great little truck. I put 130k on the Coloradado with no major problems. The rado was lowered with Belltech on 20" Enkei wheels that I painted Gunmetal. It had a Volant Cold Air Intake and a Magnaflow Exhaust system. The bed of the truck had a Bedrug and a Truxedo Lo-Profile Tonneau Cover. I did take out the stereo system before trading it in to the dealer. I should have taken the Bedrug and Tonneau off but oh well. The Ram is brand new and I have not added any mods to it. I just ordered two-tone custom seat covers and FloorLiners. I'm thinking about getting the new Bedtred for the bed of the truck. In the future I plan on getting an AMI Billet Fuel Door in Black.

im thinking upgrade wheels with painted calipers

I thought about painting the factory 20" wheels Matte Black and Painting the Brake Calipers Red? I might Plasti-Dip one of the wheels first to see if I like the look before painting the wheels.

That always helps, and some Street Scene mirrors, color matched. :xyxthumbs:

I had the Street Scene mirrors on the the Colorado and they looked great IMO. :props:

Is your Colorado a single cab?

Dang that was a nice looking Colorado. Can't wait to see what you end up doing with the Ram!

have you thought about taking the badge off the quarters and doors? Not sure about that model, but I bet the badges are glued on. Reusing the badges on the interior is always a nice touch.

Nice rig!
ps. those wheels will look great black!

The Ram 1500 badge will be removed before I do the full detail on the truck. I'm not sure if I'm going remove the Hemi badge or not?
