Friend came in and wanted his Camaro done. He had asked me to look at this car during a BBQ at July 4th. After I showed him the damage he'd be doing to his car by taking it to automatic car washes he was pretty unhappy. I assured him everything would come out without a problem........until I learned.....very quickly.... the clear coat was extremely hard. I first took a shot with Perfect Finish 4/6 with a yellow rupes pad. No dice. FG 400 with orange uber pad, no dice. FG400 with MF cutting pad.... worked good but not quite getting everything out. I decided to go with M101 on a MF cutting pad followed up with 205 on a green uber pad and topping it off with pinnacle liquid sovereign.

Washing with Greenworks 1700PSI, MTM Foam Hydro and Chemical Guys Maxi Suds:
Was on a tight time frame didnt take pictures of rims or claying. Daytona jr, Boars hair brush and Blackfire wheel cleaners were used on the wheels. For claying, I went with medium grade nano skin accompanied with GLIDE.
After the wash:
Swirls became much more evident, as I had imagined. You can see the straight strokes of the automatic car wash.
After some compounding.....
