I indicated in an earlier post that my car was caught in a hailstorm while parked at work. The damage is limited to the driver's side and primarily on the driver's side quarter panel and hood. (it is a 2009 Rav4 in Pryrite Mica). Initially, I was hesitant to have the panels repaired/repainted because it seems that Toyota silvers and metallics are notorously hard to color match ( we have all seen the cars where the panel is just ever so slightly "off" from the rest of the vehicle) . So I am wondering whether a PDR technician can remove hail damage. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

I think PDR is the main way hail damage is fixed these days.

I only see that one spot. Yes, a good PDR guy/gal can fix that

Your comprehensive should cover it too! Did for my mom's caddy!

yes it is a great company. they usually charge 350.00 a vehicle around chicago. go to the dealers around your neiborhood and you will see them fixing cars all the time.

A good one will do great work on hail damage. I have had 2 cars repaired because of hail and I could not see where the repairs were when they were finished.

It's amazing what they can do. Search Youtube for a few vids and see for yourself. A good PDR tech can be compared to a good detailer. Magic is in the hands.

we have a 4 star dent wizzard guy in our area who is incredible! 4 star is the highest certification they can earn. this guy can even remove dents on ridges. i pay him cash with no invoices which saves a bunch.

Thank you for the replies. The crappy cell-phone picture doesn't really show the extent of the hail damage. The front driver's side quarter panel is peppered with about 20-25 hail indents, the hood about 5, and the driver's door about 3.
