Hi,

I PM-ed Meghan about this and I trust she is doing some inquiries on my behalf because she is awesome.

But I wanted to bring this up because I wanted to hear from other Autogeeks who may be interested in this.

I asked Meghan if she could look into having AG carry a paintbrush-style wheel brush that is safe for all finishes and works well for all wheel designs.

I have included a picture I took of two different brushes that are exactly what I want, but these are hard to find. They cost approximately $10 - $12 each. The red handled one uses horse hair brushes and sheds too many bristles after each wash. The wood handle one has been working fine so far but is extremely hard to find and I'd rather purchase this from Autogeek to be honest. These brushes are also very versatile because they are clear-coat-safe so they are excellent for agitating door jambs, trim, logos, grilles, and lug nuts/lug nut cavities.

Anyone else currently use these brushes or would be interested in using these types of brushes and want AG to sell them? Please make a post on your thoughts.

Thanks,
Emile

The red handled one I have never tried. The Wooden handled one I absolutely LOVE. I have a few of them all designated to certain actions. Would definitely purchase more if AG would stock them. Dont even mind paying the price, as long as they are of the same quality.

I have the raceglaze brush set and they are awesome! Very similar to the swissvax one. You can pick those from a certain Canadian vender.

I have been wanting to buy some of them for a while, but have limited my purchases pretty well to Autogeek.

Emile its a shame that the red handled brush sheds so much because it definitely matches your shoes. LOLIm the MAN

I as well have both of those brushes and I absolutely love the Swissvax ones. I use them for everything :) The Zymol one is just sort of sitting around slacking lol. I enjoy the CleanWheel nut and cavity tool for inside of lug nut holes though personally.

Funny I did not notice the shoes, but first thing I thought of was, you need to stop that smoking! Its bad for you!

Love the Swissvax brushes
I'm with you on that Ron. Have one for wheel and one for interior and one spare, it's that good. Oh, forgot about the flat one for jams and trunk lid.

What about these?

Going to be very interested in this as I almost purchased the above brush last order but waited to see if anything better was out there...:dblthumb2:

Haven't tried the Swissvax brushes yet but I have used the brush pictured above, still using the same one after 8 years. I like the tapered handle and the bristles are set in epoxy resin so they don't fall out.

AG may want to look at the Snap-on brush line. Excellent choices and highest quality.

Matt, that brush is nice. The quality is good and it's a very large brush. But the actual brush isn't as large as the other two I posted, and the handle is REALLY long which makes it uncomfortable to use on wheels.

I absolutely agree on the OP''s opinion. I order all my products for my company at AG, but then have to go to another site to order 1 brush and pay for the shipping for 1 brush. I go through a lot of Swissvax brushes and it would be nice to see the Swissvax wheel brush and the SW Detail brush here. I tried to find a cheap replacement for the SW wheel brush and my quest took me to Michael's arts and crafts store. The brush wasn't as dense or big, but it does look like the SW wheel brush. I just use it on vents and such now because it's not dense enough for true agitation. The SM Arnold detail brushes are nice too and last forever. Otherwise, you guys are doing a great job at finding all the latest and greatest products. Oh, and I've just started posting on this site because there's to many ego maniacs on the others, so if I am not allowed to have my URL in the signature, feel free to erase it.
