Can Coat as a Drying Aid..........

Anybody tried it?
Experiences?
Comments?

Will not work and would likely be a huge mess. It flashes super quick and while I don't know how it would perform on a wet car, I suspect it would be ugly.

My insight is to use as directed as it's pretty easy as is. You'll love the hydrophobic property it leaves.

Already used as supposed to. Sorta wonder how it worked as a topper.

I know that one of the best pros out there uses a coating as a drying aid.

I have used Cancoat on top of CQUK/TIO2. No compatibility problems. I have used Reload and Gliss on top of Cancoat. Doesn't seem to affect the top layer's properties. I think that added moisture would interfere with Cancoat bonding to the layer underneath.

As I said.... I'd like it as a "topper", not a straight coating.

I Love it as a topper, but don't think it would be good on a moist car. You can try, maybe you are on to something, but I'd bet it is a no go.

Well, I think that Mike used to use, either DP or Mckees coating as a drying aid...…….. So...………………………..

I will say that it totally transformed the vehicle I used Gtechniq CSL on (no EXO). Thing stays much cleaner than the CSL or the CSL/C2V3 combo and has a nice look of the richer CSL gloss underneath a bit of the more candy-ish CanCoat.

I heard Mckee's 37 10-minute paint sealant works well as drying aid / topper for ceramic coated cars. I bought a bottle but haven't tried it yet.

Thanks, but no. I am very specific about the product.

so i use M37 paint coat alot, i dont see it working well as a drying aid. i cant think of any actual coating that would be great as a drying aid honestly

I would have to see the thread and his experience doing so. I can't see McKee's v2 coating being used as a drying aid at all. Could be wrong but I don't see it working well. Once a car is coated I wouldn't see a need to use a coating as a drying aid. I find Gyeon Cure at 50/50 with distilled water excellent for the first protective layer 2-4hrs after the coatings have cured. I use Reload on my CarPro jobs but honestly they both look, smell and perform nearly the same.

My weekly wash topper is my Blue Juice of ECH20, distilled water and either Reload or Cure mixed in.

I was hoping he would see this and jump in.
